For the third consecutive year, the Spanish edition of Forbes magazine has published its list of the best schools that can be found in Spain. A list that seeks to serve as a reference of the best national and international schools, composing a select list in which only 100 centers from all over Spain appear. And of the hundred that make up the 2023 list, five of those schools are in the province of Málaga.
As established by Forbes, the preparation of this list has been carried out based on a total of 36 criteria, among which are the ratio of students per teacher, accessibility to students with special needs, the offer of language classes, the average grade that obtain their students in the entrance exams to the university and the infrastructures that the center has.
Regarding the list of the year 2022, the five of the centers repeat again and are once again considered one of the best schools in Spain:
1. Aloha College Marbella (Marbella)
2. British School of Malaga (Malaga)
3. Salliver School (Fuengirola)
4. San José School (Estepona and Marbella)
5. Laude San Pedro International College (San Pedro de Alcántara)

All five are characterized by being private (no public center has entered the list) and offering bilingual education in English and classes in other languages such as German. And depending on the center you can study the British curriculum approved to the national curriculum.
Another characteristic that some of these centers share is that they offer education from kindergarten to the Baccalaureate, some offering the International Baccalaureate, the Double Baccalaureate or A-Levels or the GSCE exams (equivalent to Secondary Education) in the case of centers that follow the British curriculum.
These centers also stand out for their extracurricular offer at an artistic, sports and scientific level. In addition to standing out for seeking to create an environment in which students can develop at a human and academic level.
