Puerto Banus resort was built in 1970 by José Banús, a local property developer as a luxury marina and shopping complex. It has since become one of the largest entertainment centers in the Costa del Sol. The beach resort welcomes around 5 million annual visitors. The resort is also one of the best places for nightclubs in Marbella. It also features several of the best beach pool clubs on the Costa del Sol such as Ocean Club, Funky Buddha and La Sala by the Sea. All offer night time clubbing as well as day time activities.
The beach has excellent facilities, exceptionally maintained and reveals the most astonishing view of La Concha Mountain.
